We try to offer a complete and comprehensive boarding and training experience for your horse and for the rider. We have specialized programs to make you the best rider that you can be. We offer a combination of private and group classes to ready our riders for the show arena. We do have a limited number of stalls that are available for pleasure riders as well. We do have specific hours of operation, but our staff is on premises 24/7. We currently are filled to capacity and have a waiting list; but, do not be discouraged, because we would love your inquiries and welcome riders who are ready to learn and be part of our team. Rates are as follows: Board: $655.00 per month (six day stall cleaning; deluxe accommodations available for those customers who wish an area with heat, full lockers and privacy). $15.00 discount if paid by the 7th every month. $25.00 late fee if paid after the 25th of each month. Full training per month: $500.00 additional per month. (All horses on the "A" circuit are required to be in full training from March 1st through the last show of the year). This includes training of horse, one private lesson on show horse, one private lesson or group lesson on lesson horse. We fully believe to become the most competent and worthy show rider, one must practice not only on their own horse, but others; and participation in a group "show practice" class is most imperative to the success as a rider. Partial "Conditioning": $400.00 additional per month. (All horses on the "B" circuit must be in least partial training to compete on "B" circuit if not OTR). This includes 2 days of work, one private lesson. Private Lesson Rates: All lessons with Martha Hoyt, head instructor and trainer are $60.00 per half hour for customers who own their own horses and $85.00 half hour for riders who do not own their own horses. All other instructor(s) are $60.00 per half hour for customer who own their own horses, or $85.00 per half hour if students of the riding school. Group lesson rates are $25.00 per class on boarder horse, $35.00 on lesson horses. Show Clip: $30.00 per time Body Clip: $135.00 per body clip Daily training fees if not in training: $45.00 per day Turnout per month in addition to board: $45.00 for 2 turnouts per week. We are NOT responsible for taking off sheets or blankets, so make sure that you have a weather friendly covering on your horse for turnouts. We will be happy to administer any supplements in your horse's feed daily, only if supplements are placed in individual containers that are marked with specific directions. Please tip your feeders. All horses that are bought and sold are required to pay a 10% commission to Palos Hills Riding Stables, Inc. Horses bought off the property can only be purchased with a trainer. |
Horse Show Rates:
If show fees are not paid prior to show, you may not go to show. If there is any outstanding bills prior to show, you may not go to show. All shipping fees are dependent on show. Day Rate is $150.00 per day. This includes the preparation of your horse daily for shows...grooming, bathing, braiding, etc. Show clip: $30.00 Body clip: $135.00 Cart and Harness Rental: $150.00 Bridle or Saddle Rental: $25.00 Tail Switch Rental: $40.00 per class Hotel fees, tack stalls, extra feed, and shavings purchased at the show will be included in the flat rates, as well as gasoline surcharges. A one time sundry fee will be charged for "B" shows of $35.00 on first bill. A one time sundry fee will be charged for "A" shows of $45.00 on first bill. Leasing for show: Above rates apply. Tipping of show is to be expected and is 15-20% of the show bill. All horse show bills are to be paid 5 days after show. We reserve the right to collect fees for those shows that are more expensive in nature by collecting 50% prior to the show. If you have any previous fees that are owed, you will not be allowed to go to the next show until all fees are paid in full. |
